Refund policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If there is an issue with your order, we are here to help.

Please read this policy carefully before requesting a refund or contacting us.

1. Our 30-Day Guarantee

We accept refund requests for items within 30 days from the date your order was delivered.

To be eligible, your request must be based on a valid issue (see below).

2. How to Initiate a Refund/Credit Request

DO NOT SEND US THE PRODUCT; we do not accept physical returns to any address. Sending a product back without prior written authorization may disqualify you from receiving a refund.

To start your request:

•  Email us directly at hello@thesummitlane.com

•  Include your Order Number.

•  Clearly explain the Reason for your request.

•  If the item is damaged or incorrect, attach Clear Photos of the defect/damage.

3. Eligible Reasons for a Refund/Credit

We will review your request and may offer a full refund, partial refund, or store credit for the following reasons:

•  Defective or Damaged Product: The item arrived broken or did not work as described.

•  Wrong Item Received: You received the wrong color, size, or product entirely.

•  Item Never Arrived: The item's tracking status shows it was lost or stalled for an excessive period (typically 45+ days).

4. Our Resolution Process (The "Keep the Product" Policy)

If your request is approved, we will typically process your refund or store credit and ask you to keep the item, donate it, or responsibly dispose of it.

•  Refunds: Will be processed back to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.

•  Store Credit: Will be issued immediately as a digital gift card for use on future purchases.

5. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for a refund:

•  Gift cards.

•  Items marked as "Final Sale" on the product page.

•  Items with damage caused by misuse or normal wear and tear.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
